Get in the Mood for a Super Summer Sizzler at The Quays
With predictions not quite clear yet whether it will be an Indian summer or not shopping at The Quays every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday night has just got hotter with no parking charges after 6pm. From 1st June shoppers can relax in the cool of the evening in the centre without any charge for parking. Shops are open until 9pm with the cinema, Sainsbury’s, Spur and Xtra-Vision open later. Free parking on summer evenings is not all you get at The Quays. With over 50 fantastic high street brand name shops and restaurants as well as activities and entertainment throughout the summer there is something for everyone.
Cathal Austin, Centre Manager at The Quays said, “We are delighted to be able to offer our customers the opportunity to shop in the summer evenings with no car parking charges. Over the summer months there is a lot happening at the centre. We are supporting many events in the local community including the Maiden of the Mournes Festival, Fiddlers Green, Craobh Rua Hurling Club in Camlough and Down GAA. We will also be running a full programme of family events with the ‘CityBeat Search for a Star’ coming to the centre for the very first time, Giant Games, craft workshops and the inaugural ‘Quays Run for Fun’ for young people in association with East Coast Adventure Centre.
“Shoppers can look forward to evening entertainment as well as at the weekends. At The Quays we are very much a shopping centre in the heart of the community offering something for all the family and we hope with our super summer sizzler we will welcome shoppers new and old to enjoy The Quays experience.”
Make The Quays your perfect date for summer nights in June, July and August with free parking after 6pm. Car parking charges will be incurred up until 6pm each day. Shoppers who have arrived after 6pm simply take a ticket on entry and when exiting the centre the ticket will register as paid, with no need to visit a pay station.
